August 22 - Day 2

This post will be full of pictures - we wanted to share our good moments with everyone and give an idea of the day in the life of Evelyn since she has been here :). Evelyn received her steroids again today but other then that the day was pretty quiet.

Getting sleepy

In our room upstairs

Her freedom walk - she was unhooked from her IV for the afternoon

Sleeping in the car on the way home when we were allowed a few hours away with her

This was at 4:30 in the morning

Passing the time putting stickers on each other's faces with Auntie Katie

Stickers with Auntie Becky

Stickers under the blanket

On the way down to get her Port IV put in

And after, wiped out

  4. Steve & Lindsey,

Thanks for sharing your story and photos - your girls are both lovely! We pray that God will give you his strength to see these struggles though, and that he can continue to give Evelyn more reason for smiles than tears.

These photographs are lovely; your closing verse perfectly mirrored them.
May you continue to know God's strength and comfort through these days and months. And may God bless you all with renewed health for your daughter.
